Last updated:
1. Who we are
MARINAC ("we", "us") operates marinac.world. The legal entity identified in the applicable order, invoice or company details acts as controller for the related processing; privacy contact details are at the bottom of this page.
2. What data we collect
- Account data — name, email, phone, shipping address, password hash.
- Order data — products purchased, prices, delivery details, invoice information.
- Payment data — handled by the payment provider selected at checkout; we never store full card numbers.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, device, requested pages and analytics events when the configured consent permits them.
- Cookies — see section 6.
- Voluntary data — anything you send us via contact forms, chat or email.
3. How we use your data
- To process orders, ship products and provide customer support.
- To send order-related emails (confirmations, shipping, returns).
- To operate, secure and improve the site using configured aggregate analytics where consent is required and granted.

4. Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
- Contract — to deliver the products you bought.
- Legal obligation — for invoices, tax records, customs documents.
- Consent — for marketing emails and non-essential cookies (revocable any time).
- Legitimate interest — for fraud prevention, site security and aggregate analytics.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers without your explicit opt-in.
- The payment provider selected at checkout — only the data required to process your payment.
- The shipping carrier selected for your order — only the address and contact data required to deliver it.

6. Cookies
We use browser storage and cookies needed for functions such as session and cart state. Analytics or marketing technologies load only when enabled in the current site configuration and after consent where required. You can change or revoke your choice via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.
7. How long we keep data
- Order and invoice records — for the period required by applicable tax, accounting and consumer law.
- Account data — while the account is active and afterwards only where required for legal obligations, disputes or a verified deletion workflow.
- Marketing consent and withdrawal evidence — for as long as needed to honour the choice and demonstrate compliance.
- Security and service logs — under the current operator and provider retention schedules, limited to operational, security and legal needs.
8. Your rights
Depending on the law applicable to your request, you may have rights to access, correct or delete data, restrict or object to processing, obtain portability, and lodge a complaint with a competent authority. Email us at the address below; we handle verified requests within the period required by the applicable law.
9. Security
We use HTTPS, access controls and platform-managed password hashing. Full card numbers are entered on the selected payment provider's hosted surface and are not stored by MARINAC. We assess security incidents and notify the competent authority or affected people when and within the period required by applicable law.
10. Children
Our products are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date identifies the published version. Where applicable law requires a notice or renewed consent, we provide it before the affected processing continues.
