Terms of Service
The terms governing your use of marinac.world and any purchase you make.
Last updated:
1. Acceptance of terms
By visiting marinac.world or placing an order you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or buy from us.
2. Who we are
MARINAC ("we", "us", "the seller") is a Ukraine-based brand of marine accessories. Our address and contact details are listed at the bottom of this page and on the Contact page.
3. Account registration
- You may browse and buy as a guest. Creating an account speeds up future orders and gives you access to order history and wishlist.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.
- You must provide accurate, current and complete information; you are liable for any consequence of false data.
- We may suspend or close accounts for fraudulent activity, abusive behaviour, or breach of these terms.
4. Products and pricing
- Prices are shown in EUR (or local currency, where applicable) and include applicable VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise.
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time. The price applicable to your order is the one displayed at checkout when you confirm.
- Product images and descriptions are illustrative; minor variations in colour, finish or batch are possible for hand-crafted and made-to-order items.
- Made-to-order items (Made-to-Size, custom dimensions) cannot be cancelled once production starts and are non-refundable except for manufacturing defects.
5. Order acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed only when we send the order-confirmation email. We may decline an order — for instance if a product is out of stock, if the price was clearly mis-displayed, or if we suspect fraud — and we will refund any payment in such cases.
6. Payment
- We accept the payment methods shown at checkout (card via Stripe, Wayforpay, bank transfer, etc., depending on country).
- Payment is taken at the time of order, not on shipment.
- For made-to-order items, an advance payment may be required as stated on the product page.
7. Shipping
We ship via Nova Poshta, Ukrposhta, DHL and similar carriers. Shipping methods, fees and times are shown at checkout and on the Delivery & Payment page. Free shipping applies for orders over €200 within the eligible regions.
8. Returns and refunds
You may return non-made-to-order products within 14 days of receipt under the conditions detailed on the Returns & Exchange page. Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
9. Warranty
All MARINAC products carry a 12-month manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover normal wear, accidental damage, misuse, or modifications. To claim warranty, contact us with a description and photos of the defect.
10. Intellectual property
All content on marinac.world (logo, brand name, product designs, photographs, copy) is owned by MARINAC or used under licence. You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without prior written consent.
11. User content
When you submit reviews, photos or other content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it for marketing the brand and the product reviewed. You confirm the content is yours, lawful and does not infringe any third-party right.
12. Acceptable use
- Do not use the site to harass, defraud or harm others.
- Do not attempt to access systems you are not authorised to access (no scraping bots beyond standard search crawlers, no probing endpoints).
- Do not upload malware, run automated requests at abusive rate, or interfere with site availability.
13. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are liable for direct damages up to the value of the product purchased. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses (lost profit, lost data, lost time). Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence, or harm to consumers protected by mandatory law.
14. Force majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our control: natural disasters, war, hostilities, blackouts, carrier failure, governmental action, pandemics, or strikes.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. For consumers resident in the EU, mandatory consumer-protection law of the country of residence still applies.
16. Disputes
We try to resolve every dispute amicably — please contact us first. If a dispute persists, the parties agree to seek an out-of-court settlement before taking the matter to court. Consumers in the EU may also use the European online dispute-resolution platform.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Changes apply to orders placed after the new version is published.
18. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
